Jill M. Guarascio formed Guarascio Law Group in 2011 to serve the needs of individuals and small business throughout Jefferson and Oldham counties. The majority of the firm's case load is concentrated in the areas of family law, estate planning, probate, and labor and employment matters.
Previously, Jill served as field attorney in the National Labor Relations Board Miami Resident Office where she investigated hundreds of unfair labor practice charges filed against both management and labor, including threats, unlawful disciplinary actions, unlawful strikes and mass picketing. She successfully represented the General Counsel in numerous agency hearings before an NLRB administrative law judge, including several of the agency's most high profile cases. In addition, Jill practiced in the agency’s Division of Advice at its headquarters in Washington, D.C. In this role, she advised the agency's General Counsel and Regional Offices throughout the country as to whether various unfair labor practice charges involving difficult, complex, or novel legal issues had merit.
After moving to La Grange, Kentucky, Jill worked for The Rawlings Company, the nation's largest post-payment recovery vendor, where she resolved hundreds of subrogation and reimbursement claims. She advised medical benefit plans on plan language and managed numerous litigation matters.
Jill received her B.B.A. in Economics, cum laude, from the University of North Texas. She received her law degree from George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia and is licensed to practice in Virginia and Kentucky.
